Fundraising Efforts
The New Mexico Chronic Disease Prevention Council’s (CDPC) Capacity Building Workgroup and the New Mexico Allied Council on Tobacco (NM ACT) are holding a virtual raffle fundraising event and are hoping to receive local support for donations.
Fundraising efforts will go towards commercial tobacco control in New Mexico through advocacy, awareness, legislative efforts, and evidence-based education.
All of the proceeds from the raffle tickets sold will help to fund the education, training, and support of our mission as we work together to create a healthier New Mexico!
The mission of NM ACT is to improve and safe lives by reducing commercial tobacco use. We accomplish our mission by lobbying for stricter tobacco policies, educating adults and youth on the dangers of tobacco to include vaping, access to tobacco cessation programs, and by helping business and schools become smoke-free.
