2020 NMACTion Conference RESCHEDULED!

Same Great Line-up

Online May 27th & 28th

We are bringing the 2020 NMACTion Conference online! The Conference is so meaningful not only for the tremendous workshops and activities being done, but also for the networking that is facilitated – our industry doesn’t often have this opportunity to come together for this degree of diverse education topics and discussion.

So get ready for some great keynotes, like Ernie Tsosie who is back by huge demand. We also have Leo Manzano as a featured speaker this year. We are keeping with the same theme and specialty tracks which will include CEUs:

UNITED: Invigorating partnerships to prevent commercial tobacco use for a healthier New Mexico.

  • Youth & Families:  Promoting the impact youth and families have on tobacco policy and community engagement.
  • Behavioral Health:  Insightful workshops with content on nicotine addiction treatment, trauma informed care, and the opportunity to learn more about other support quit methods.
  • LGBTQ:  Featuring Transgender 101, Nonbinary 101, and Bi+ identities, and Beyond inclusivity: making environments welcoming to queer and trans people.

Note: The awards luncheon recognizing our state’s tobacco control leaders will be scheduled at a later date, post-Covid19.
